CareShare is a voluntary organisation providing support to Carers in their own homes, to give Carers a regular short break.

CareShare provides practical support in the home to enable Carers to have a regular short beak from the caring role. CareShare intends to provide a service that is free to Carers. The CareShare service is Carer led and in providing a service to Carers, CareShare may provide a personal care service to people with care needs. The service is intended to supplement and complement other services provided to the family or person with a disability or dementia.

In the Cotswold District, to relieve the stresses experienced by Carers and people with physical, mental or sensory impairment, by offering a respite service through the provision of community based Carer Support Workers. ­
