This website is dedicated to Sophie who passed away 6th Sept 2004.
Sophie
was my best friend, I have never known a more wonderfully intelligent and trusting cat. She was among the first to become a permanent resident at the sanctuary. She arrived at about 3 months old. She had been taken from her mum at only 5 weeks and suffered from a really bad dose of cat flu which left her with flu type symptoms the whole of her life. This eventually took it’s toll and she suddenly became very ill. She died while at the vets after two days of intensive care.
My
“BRIGHT EYES”
My very precious girl.
Always in my heart.
Sophie: December 1995 to 6th September 2004
3 years to the day 6th September 2007 Taffy
joined Sophie at Rainbow Bridge.
Cancer took my wonderful boy,
My Ambassador. Just like Sophie, the most sociable and understanding friend any human or cat could wish for.
The most gentle gentleman.
August 1996 to 6th Sept 2007
I miss you my darling boy.

Teddy
is the oldest resident, he was born in the summer of 1993. He arrived here at about 8 weeks old, an extremely feisty feral kitten.
He has never tamed entirely and remains quite nervous .
Zoe
was one of 3 feral kittens that arrived about 8 weeks old in July 1996. Zoe’s sisters tamed and were re-
homed but Zoe to this day remains unapproachable.
She has had a digestive problem which has finally been cured

Toby
is a HUGE lad, He arrived at the same time as Sophie in Feb 1996 and was about the same age, they became great friends. Toby had been rescued from children who were using him as a football. He has always been jumpy due to his awful early experiences.
Gin-
Gin
arrived with 2 siblings in Sept 1996 about 10 weeks old. His siblings tamed and were found a new home together, but once again Gin-
Gin didn’t tame so remained here. He recently had to have dental work which resulted in a few extractions.

Taffy
arrived in November 1996 about 14 weeks old. He was very thin and ill and he almost died, but he was a fighter and he survived and grew into a huge boy. He always welcomed anyone to the sanctuary, whether human or feline.
He loved everyone. He was particularly fond of kittens and would play mum to orphans, washing and snuggling up to them.
GOD BLESS YOU MY LITTLE MAN
