Carlton Cat Sanctuary (my home), evolved over a period of around nine years, although I have been involved in voluntary rescue for over thirty years. I have taken in and re-homed many hundreds if not thousands of cats and kittens in that time and the one’s that now reside here on a permanent basis are the one’s who were mainly unsuitable for re-homing. Most are now approaching middle age and are used to life in a large family group.
The sanctuary is self funding and is run single handedly by myself, unfortunately circumstances have changed and due to health and other problems I find myself in the reluctant position of needing to appeal to the kindhearted and ask for sponsorship and donations in order that I can continue to provide food shelter and the inevitable veterinary care that will be required in the coming years. I now struggle to find the £60 + per week required for food and litter alone, therefore I am making an urgent appeal.
PLEASE HELP, can you sponsor a cat with a regular payment or a single donation. Every penny counts !
