Snowkiting Crimbo 05

27/12/05 -Woke up to a dusting of Icing sugar all over front lawn. Not enough for snow kiting me thinks but I'll head over to lodgemoor and take me skis along anyway.
Drove over and found gradualy less and less snow Got to lodge and found it still had some though.
Set the Venom up and just got a ski out to see if it would slide (Bloke in carpark pointed and laughed. "Ey up T' Youth You'll ne'er get goin on them!") Thought he'd be right - but no it slid
Up went the kite on went the skis. Still being a pessimist I thought I'll just loop the kite and go up hill which worked, then I turned upwind and went back down the hill. Spent the next four hours flying around the place with a silly grin on my face.
Martin turned up too and tried wheeled snowkiting which also looked good fun. (Cheers for taking the pics)
Man I'm glad I chucked the skis in the car.
