Our new season starts on MONDAY 1st SEPTEMBER 2008
with our Chairman's Evening.
This year he passes the baton to Roy, our President,
who will be showing and talking about examples of his own work.
Experienced or not, everyone can learn from Roy's explanations of his very distictive style.
Note that the Programme page has been updated to show our activities until the end of 2008
Our aims are to promote interest and active participation in all aspects of still photography,
and to arrange a weekly programme of events covering
competitions, lectures, practical evenings, demonstrations, and audio-visual sequences etc.
Many of our members produce their work using computer imaging,
but some also by traditional darkroom techniques, and commercial laboratories.
Membership is open to anyone interested in photography;
for all ages and all standards
Visitors are always welcome
Do come and see us, now on any MONDAY evening (except in "High Summer") - 7.45 for 8.00pm
at the Carshalton Methodist Church Halls, Ruskin Road, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 3DE
Or contact Gerald, our Secretary on 07790 599302
or David on 01256-346238

Carshalton Camera Club is pleased to announce that Awards For All have recently given us a grant
enabling us to purchase a digital projector
This will be used not only to further our own photographic ambitions
- internal competitions and tuition of our own members in the new technologies -
but also to enhance our presentations of showing Audio-Visual sequences to
local societies and clubs.
