Am I the only one who thinks 2004 was a frighteningly short year?

It's all change for 2005, here at Cowan Towers. My long time work associate,Jo Parfitt, has left the country to reunite the family with husband Ian full time in the Hague. We are still working together at Summertime Publishing - but seeing a lot less of each other! Already I miss our Swimming Meetings, Dog-walking Meetings and Powerwalking Meetings, as well as her unbeatable Homemade Soup Meetings.

December was a madly musical month for me, with a couple of concert appearances in Collyweston village hall, several rowdy carol-singing sessions, and a wonderful 'Collyweston Unplugged' event in the pub at New Year's Eve. These monthly acoustic sessions are a great hit. It's like throwing a good party, on the last Friday of every month, without having to buy the drinks or do the washing-up.

January too is going to be a stunner. The next Collyweston Unplugged is on Friday 28th January, in the Collyweston Slater. Details below (see 'News and Opportunities).

The next night, Saturday 29th, is very special. We're throwing a concert in aid of Cancer Research UK, at Stamford Arts Centre. See below for details!
