Cilla was Sired by a home bred tup out of Cassington Shona. She was champion at Stanraer, Reserve champion at Dumfries and Dalrymple.

Shona "S45" is sired by Knockardie Blue Diamond and is a full sister to the above gimmer, "V44" and is from show Ewe "Cassington Shona". She was second in her class at Dumfries Show and Reserve champion at Coylton Show.

"BLUE DIAMOND" Excels At Progeny Show

1st Prize Group Of Lambs And 1st Prize Group Of Gimmers

Knockairdie Blue Diamond had a very successful day at the "Bluefaced Leicester Society" Progeny Show which was held at Penrith this year.

He sired the first prize group of ewe lambs, the first prize group of gimmers, third prize group of ewes and the first prize single Ewe lamb.

A son of "Blue Diamond", "Cassington Robbie" (shown by Judith Fleming of the "Border Esk" flock, from Longtown) was second prize in the shearling class. "Cassington Robbie" sired the first prize group of Tup Lambs and first prize single Tup lamb.

"Blue Diamond" also won the best fleeced sheep at the show.
