From the A944 take the right turn heading from Aberdeen just before Dunecht and follow the lane towards the National Trust property of Castle Fraser. The circle is in a field to the west of the castle just beyond the entrance drive to the castle. We parked at the end of a farm track and walked along the edge of the field to get as close as possible to the circle. As there was no track through the crops this is as close as we could get.
This is supposed to be one of the best circles in the area with 6 out of an original 10 stones standing in a 20m diameter ring. There are also two large standing stones in the field among the crops.
