Sunhoney Take the B9119 west from Cullerlie for about 5 miles. If you reach the turn to Midmar Kirk church you have gone too far. Access to the site is by a lane on the right beside Sunhoney farm which is the second farm along the lane from the road where you should ask permission to visit the site about ¼ mile down the track. There is a new sign by the farm to the circle and a recently constructed fence keeps you clearly directed to the site.
This is a recumbent stone circle with an internal ring cairn in a pleasant but fairly overgrown setting of trees. There are 12 granite stones standing and one fallen in this 25m diameter circle.
The 4.5m long recumbent stone is huge and has numerous cupmarks. Just inside the ring of stones is the bank of an internal ring cairn, now covered in long grass, but one or two stoney hollows are visible
