Quiberon Peninsula, Morbihan

There are a few sites on this section of attractive coast. The west coast is very rugged and is called La Cote Sauvage where a road runs along it from the free campsite in the south to the burial chambers in the north by Port Blanc. The east coast is sandy and has long beaches. This was once an island but is now joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus.

Kerbourgnec
Cromlech
St Pierre Quiberon, Morbihan

This is not so easy to find due to the town’s one way system but if you are heading south take the left turn at the second set of traffic lights where there is a small sign to the site. After about 100m turn left and you will see the stones. There is a small parking space.

The west arc of the cromlech is all that remains and some 40 thin slabs averaging 2m make up the arc around a large garden. Follow the arc to a lane then turn right to come to the stone rows.
