The
Manio Quadrilateral (Manio 3) Walk on past the riding school and there is a sign pointing up a path on the right. Follow this until a sign points to the left and follow this through the trees and you will soon reach the site. It is a very peaceful place set in a glade in the forest.

is a tertre tumulus – long mound except the mound has gone leaving a
trapezoidal setting of stones around it. The remaining enclosure is 37m
long aligned ENE to WSW and is 10m wide to the east narrowing to 7m in the
west. To the east is a damaged setting of stones joined to it that could
have been a forecourt.
Just
45m to the south is an impressive standing stone. |
