Notre Dame-de-Lorette
Stone rows/cromlech?
Le Quillo, Côte du Nord

From Mur-de-Bretagne take the D35 NE towards Uzel and just before you reach the village of Le Quillo take a left turn signed to the chapel of Notre Dame-de-Lorette.

Beside the chapel are what appear to be two parallel rows of stones or the remains of an enclosure. A sign inside the chapel refers to a cromlech. The chapel was built in 1854 and the stones were left in place. They are beside the north wall and are aligned roughly east to west.

The rows are 20m long (66ft) and as they are about 7m apart they are too wide to be a burial chamber. There are 18 tall stones nearest the wall with the highest being a pillar about 2m near the center. They are all schist. The northern row has 12 lower stones averaging about 1m.
