Porte de la Roche
Modern Stone Circle
Nr Langon, Ille-et-Vilaine

Head north out of Langon towards the D54 road that heads to St Ganton and when you reach a crossroads and level crossing after 2km you will see the stones on the left. This attractive monument was built to commemorate the villagers shot by the Germans in 1944.

The point of the triangle is a 1m (3ft) high stone where two rows lead out from it to the NW and SW. Between them is a pillar of granite and a column of quartz (both 2m) and in the center is a stone engraved with the names of the dead.
