Tressé This is the last site we visited before getting the ferry at Cherbourg and we are glad we didn’t miss it as the walks in the woods here are superb. From the Menhir du Champ Dolent return to the D795 and turn left. After about 4km turn right on the D78 to Lanhelin. At Lanhelin turn right on the D73 and after about 4km turn left at a crossroads where the tomb is signed. (This is where the right turn goes to Le Tronchet). Follow the forest road for a few km to reach a carpark on the right where the tomb is a short walk through the trees.

| This
allée couverte is in a very pleasant setting in a lovely forest
surrounded by tall trees. It has a long rectangular chamber measuring
about 11 by 1.5m (36 by 5ft) with eight large granite capstones
surviving.

| To the NW is a terminal cell and on the transverse slab are
two pairs of carved breasts – unfortunately these have been
vandalized. However the two pairs on the side stone are undamaged.
