The Blind Fiddler
Standing Stone
SW 425 281

To the east of Boscawen Un circle on the A30 is the Blind Fiddler stone in a field beside the road. There is space to park near it and a stile provides access to the field.

This is a fine standing stone and must have been an important monument in it’s time due the effort to erect it. It is about 3.5 metres (11.5 ft) high and roughly triangular in form. This is named after yet another unfortunate musician to play on the Sabbath.
