When we entered New Luce we saw a sign with information on local archaeology that mentioned burial chambers nearby. After visiting Glentirrow head back to New Luce over the bridge and turn right. Take the next left and continue for about 1.5 miles until you come to a space to park near a Southern Upland Way footpath sign. Follow this path and head to the right around some trees until it rejoins the track. (This was deep in mud and cows when we were there) Continue on until you come to a ladder stile in front of you. Turn left here, to the NE, and walk towards a mound about ¼ mile away.

This is a long cairn with at least four stone lined chambers on it. The one to the east still has a capstone. There are several rock filled hollows that could conceal others.
