From Newtown take the A483 south towards Llandrindod wells. After about 5 miles take a right signed towards Llaithddu. Carry on for another 4 miles and there will be a left turn near a telephone box. To the right of this junction is a footpath track that you follow for 1.5 miles NW. When you reach some pine trees take the path ahead to the south and where it meets a track you can find the site ahead in the field on top of the ridge. You can see the cairn over the fence before you reach the track. The path to this site is very unclear and not well walked, you really need a compass here but if you head to the pine trees and negotiate the bogs you should find it but there is not a lot there when you do.

There is an almost 1m high stone here known as Fowler’s Arm chair near a cairn and just two small stones around it. The taller stone is thought to have been a centre stone with a circle around it, however little evidence remains and there is not a lot to see.
