Stone Circle
Blakely Raise
NY 060 140

From Cleator Moor take the road to Ennerdale Bridge following the river. At Longmoor turn right and go for about a mile, continue past some trees and over a cattle grid. Look for the circle on the left (to the east) a short distance from the road as you reach the top of a rise where there is room to park.

This circle was restored in 1925 and consists of eleven small stones set in concrete. The two tallest are about 1 metre in height on the south side with a gap between them. This is set in a beautiful location and the circle is about 50 feet diameter, the stones are not large but they are attractive.
