Stone Circles
Low Longrigg
NY 172 028

A further two circles are to be found nearly 400 metres north of White Moss. Walk due north uphill until you reach the highest point. Don’t start going downhill on the other side but turn to the east and follow the top if you can’t see the circles. They are 20 metres apart from each other, the circle to the southwest has a cairn in the centre and is about 50 ft (15 meters) diameter and the one to the northeast has two cairns and is about 70 ft (21 metres) diameter. From this site you get excellent views of the surrounding hills and the other three circles to the south. Snow was in the air and photographs were not easy as the light kept changing.

For instructions to reach this site see Brat's Hill
