Stone Circle
Penbedw Hall
SJ 171 679

This site is on private land just off the A451 Mold/Denbigh road just south of Nannerch. (At the moment, Nov 2000, there are long running diversions east towards Mold due to flood damage) Turn off into the private drive by the gatehouse at SJ 172 685, and drive up to the farm and park at the top of the lane. Ask permission to visit the site in either the pink or white house. From the front of the pink house the track to the circle leads south and crosses a bridge. It passes a large standing stone which is about 5 ft (1.6m) high.

Continue down and go through a gate and the circle is in the field towards the road. There are four remaining stones here and trees have been planted in the spaces where there were believed to have been stones. It is thought that there were originally 11 stones and the circle is about 30 yards across. However there is some doubt as to it being a genuine stone circle but it is a pleasant place to visit.
