Nine Stones Stone Circle SX 612 928 Leave the Exeter/Okehampton road (A30) at the junction signed Belstone. Pass the garage and turn right signed to the village. Either use the car park before the village or drive right through passing stocks on the village green. Look for a red phone box ahead on the right and continue on the lane signed No through road. Park at the end near a small reservoir and go through the gate. Follow the track along the wall and when the wall ends continue and where a grass track forks look ahead to the left to see the circle. It is about 150m from the track.

This small circle is made up of 11 stones that remain from up to 40 original stones forming a circle that is about 8m across. The tallest is about 1m high.
The photos of this circle were taken in the rain on our first day here. To visit sites on the moor it is essential to have a map and compass, don't rely on these brief route instructions.
