Stretching from the circle is a long stone row, in places double, heading off towards the NNE. We walked the 530m length of it to the terminal stone and the views back towards the cairn are worth it. Some of the stones in the row are quite substantial at about 1m high.

View of Ringmoor stone row and terminal stone The terminal stone has animal trails radiating out from it that makes an interesting effect on the moor, it is probably because it is a mini waterhole. Ringmoor
The kerb cairn with the cairn circle in the distance It almost appears modern and several of the stones are small and loose. The circle is about 12ft (3.6m) across and we counted 19 fairly solid stones. They are a darker granite again with quartz veins. We have seen a few outcrops of this granite around here with quartz intrusions. The view back towards Brisworthy is very pleasant and this is another enjoyable walk.
