Monzie Stone Circle NN 882 243 Continue on the A85 towards Perth and take a left after 1.5miles on the A822. After a short distance turn left, signed Monzie and a little way on you will see the castle “gatehouse” on the left. Park near here on the verge on the right and ask permission as the road sign says private.
The overgrown circle The circle was very overgrown on our visit and was full of nettles and weeds. This made it a slightly painful experience clearing the stones to find the cupmarks! This is a very small kerb circle set on a low mound and consists of 10 low granite boulders and measures only 5m across.

to the gap in the SE is a cupmarked stone in the kerb and just outside the
circle to the west is a large slab with cup and ring and cupmarks. This
was originally linked to the circle by a cobbled causeway similar to the
ones at the Clava cairns in Inverness. A short way off to the NW you can
see a standing stone in the field.
