Scone, Sandy Lane West
Stone Circle

Coming into Scone from the north turn right where there is a pub sign and continue along this road, pass a park and watch for the road Sandy Lane on the left. Turn here and look for a cul de sac just a short distance on the right. There is a pull in here where you can stop. (If you come to a church on the main road you have come too far)

 
This circle is in the middle of a housing development and there were originally two circles here but one was destroyed. Seven of the nine original stones survive and they can be seen to the rear of the square of vegetation in the cul de sac. The circle is about 20ft (6m) diameter and the tallest stone is to the SW and is 2.5ft (0.8m)
