On CFAM4 and CFAM3c with current software both CFM and CFAM format displays can be run concurrently on up to four channels.
Either format can be output to the chart recorder as can other displays
These include data distribution histograms, scatter-grams and statistics, plus averaged evoked potentials.
However the CFM format is far less informative than the CFAM format. There are particular concerns both with using the CFM format in single channel mode and the fact that current digital CFMs have to simulate an analog instrument including its limitations. See the CFM format HowTo.
