Here the example is part of the process of reviewing a database. Previously data have been accumulated into multiple categories. Here populations of two of these categories (XB3233W and XA3233W) are being compared using two measurements - the percentage beta and 90th centile of the amplitude. Correlation coefficients and formulae for best fit lines through the two populations are given at the top.
