The Route

Currently our route looks set to run through England, France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine, Kazakstan, Russia and finally through Outer Mongolia and in to Inner Mongolia. Although from what we have heard from other teams it sounds like route plans usually don't count for all that much once your on the road so I'm pretty sure this list will get a little longer.

There will obviously be some pretty interesting places along the route but one major place we're looking to visit for a day or so is Pripyat, the town that was evacuated during the Chernobyl accident. The complete population of 49,000 people was evacuated in a matter of hours and everything is still as it was that day. If your interested you can even see the ferris wheel, that hasn't been used since 1985 still standing, on Google Maps under Pripyat..
