Why the Website?

This site is dedicated to all of our shelled friends. Although it concentrates on Testudo and Geochelone species this is because those are the tortoises which I have. All information on the site is related to how I keep my charges and my current views.

If you disagree with any of my views then please email me and I will happily take on board any Ideas.

I will not be responsible for other people trying my methods, although to the best of my beliefs I can not think of any circumstances under which applying my methods could harm a tortoise.

I am willing to take in any unwanted tortoises, and nurse them back to health if needed.

I sometimes have home bred baby tortoises available for sale.

These baby tortoises are only sold to people who have gone to the trouble of researching the care of tortoises and are sold in minimums of twos, this is to try to promote the breeding of tortoises in the future.

Any tortoises which are sold by me can be brought back for check-ups or for re-homing if a customer finds they are unable to give their charges the best home possible.

I only have fully legal, micro chipped tortoises.

In order to sell a Mediterranean Tortoise (Hermann's, Spur Thighed, Marginated, Egyptian)

or sell its babies it needs to be registered with DEFRA.
