As a starter… An extract from the minutes of the meeting convened shortly after the 2005 Ashes series….
“Even before the meeting started some of the Alpha males started playful goading the Gentle Kangaroo that had accidentally stumbled into their midst. The cry of ‘You losers’ rang out, as well as the haunting, ‘Do you want to sit here? The lights better!' from some of the more subtle members of the group. Primitive Carvings were adorning their cave as some sort of Festival occasion seemed to be taking place that they all seemed to be part of, except the poor lost, soul destroyed Kangaroo! “
BUT the story wasn’t over in 2007 the Roo bit back! Now like a pea-cock the yellow and green one strutted his stuff. The alpha’s became beta’s and shrunk into the depths of pint glasses… while the occasional war cry could still be heard haunting in the distance… “Oh B0ll0cks!” |
