The
front at Southbourne is producing whiting and a few nice flounders when the surf
is up.Poole Harbour has been producing Large Flounders to 4lb at Holes Bay and
Baiter as for the rest of the area its a bit hit and miss . Early Plaice are
showing at Branksome Chine and Hordle.
Perhaps the plaice will be in early this year along with rays at the White
House at Milford. Meantime the rockling at Avon Beach will be the main target
for match anglers

Not much to
report so far this autumm there are a lot of Whiting off the front at
Southbourne which is an improvement on last year. A few cod have been taken
out in the bay but no shore caught ones yet recorded.The Flounders in the
harbour are hit and miss at present there one tide and gone the next we need a
few days of storms to stir things up.
