Fished Cogdon with a friend yesterday evening 100yards
to the right.Couldnt find a fish except mackeral for
the first hour or two so suggested a move up the beach
to a hot spot!My friend had not long departed on the
10 min walk there when guess what i reeled in on my
last rod out, one nice little flattie just as he was
out of earshot, typical!So i moved anyway and soon had
a cracker on the beach followed by a wierd "Chesil Crab.I dont know the name of and finally just as it got truly dark one more Plaice all fish caught on Rag
tipped with Squid or Black Lug.Just as the light
fades really seems to produce the goods.

Gave Cogden a go on account of the bank holiday lot being on all the other beaches.Very slow.Fished from 5pm till 10pm, no bites till late ,then only a few Pout & a Dogfish.Dave fishing towards Bex from us had a Plaice.
