Fished Battery
point today, 3 hrs up and 1 down. Total catch after drowning many lug and rag
was 1 small whiting which managed to thread
itself up the hook! At least we were able to get out of the wind, would not have
fancied chesil much today!

On Monday 27th December my husband
and dad were fishing at Milford shingle
bank .When my husbamd rang me at 7pm to say he had caugt his first Cod. He
took it to the Wessex angling center the next day and was told it weighed
11lb 6.5oz .His only other fish that night was a Doggy.

Myself, my brother and a friend fished
Southbourne Sun 19th Dec, poor tide and a nasty Easterly wind that put a bit of
top on the water.Started fishing at noon,
after 1 1/2 hours we had one small Bass,
then a small Pout. We spent the next 3 hours without so
much as a sniff then at around 5 as we were just about to leave Bang after
much commotion my brother was sat there with an 11lb 4 oz Bass caught on the
smallest piece of Mackie. Well it had to
happen sometime.Baits were: Rag, Mackie,
and Squid

Arrived at Seatown at dawn.Fished
Lug on the bottom & spun in case Mr Bass was about.Had a Pout from the
bottom, followed by a Mackeral..Put some feathers on & caught 2 more.Shook
skinny one off the hook & returned it without touching it.
