I watched the Ooms move Mesmer during the week. Interesting little movie. Alan Rickman is the star but there's lots of Ooms from near the start to the end and she gives a nice performance. Basically Rickman plays a 18th century doctor who has strange theories on how people can be cured using magnets and static electricity (I think). Ooms plays a blind girl he tries to cure. It's only 3 quid on Amazon UK.
If you're into classic book adaptations then check out ITV's Forsyte Saga from 2002/3. Amanda has a role in the first series as a governess who a man leaves his wife over. Great cast, music, production values and a compelling story.
As far as I know those are the only two Amanda Ooms DVDs that can be bought in the UK. If you find another please let me know!

I've been searching for material on Swedish actress Amanda Ooms for quite a few years now. She first came to my attention in 1996 (!) in a UK TV drama called Wilderness about a librarian who turns into a werewolf. My first thought was "Ooms, Oooms, Ooooommmmmssss". My second thought was "She's lovely."
In the late '90s and early '00s she appeared in a number of other UK TV shows such as Seesaw, Getting Hurt, Doomwatch and The Forsyte Saga.
Every now and then I do a search for Amanda and I've never found any useful content. So now I'm starting this page, the main reason for which is to try and track down any DVD or video releases for the many things I've not seen her in. If you can help I would appreciate it!
Obviously not many photos here yet, just a few I found online. If you have an old magazine that Amanda appeared in please send in a scan. The movie and TV list is obviously a cut and paste job from the IMDb but I intend to add some plot info if and when I find it. Again, if you've seen one of the shows why not send in a quick description.
