Amelia gets a mention in an article about The Echo at Filipino site www.inquirer.net. If you click to image 2 in the gallery you'll see Amelia as well.

I found a few nice Amelia photos at community.livejournal.com
I'm told that Amelia had a half-page article in the November 2007 issue of Marie Claire UK. If anyone could supply a scan that would be good of you.
Lettie has sent in her review of The Dark is Rising...
After a long wait for its release I went to see TDIR at the Lincoln Odeon. It is about two hours long and the theme is very much GOOD (LIGHT) V EVIL (DARK). The casting was excellent with Ian McShane, Christopher Eccleston and, of course, our lovely Amelia Warner. Warner appears in the film within the first few minutes. She is cast as a mysterious figure...and I can say no more without giving the plot away. She just shines on screen (particularly when she smiles) and steals the scenes in which she appears. Unfortunately she does not appear enough in the film. Again, like in Alpha Male, she has only a minor, albeit very significant, role in the film. It was a very enjoyable film and one of the best in the family / children's fantasy category that I have seen this year. It is well worth going to see whether you are a fan of Warner's or not.'
Steph sent in some info about Amelia flavoured trading cards for The Dark is Rising and some other info.
champaignyp.com/movies.html - this review of The Seeker: The Dark is Rising contains Production Notes but it's got spoilers in it so it's probably best to read it after watching the movie. It only has a brief section with Amelia commenting on Maggie Barnes.
chuvachienes.com - this is an interview with Iza Calzado but she only mentions Amelia briefly: She says that she also hit it off with co-star Amelia Warner of “The Seeker: The Dark is Rising” fame. “She said she had watched ‘Sigaw’ and that she liked it. ” On the set, they gabbed about Philippine beaches, but the “funny thing was, in our scene together, we didn’t get to talk much.”
There's an Amelia interview over on www.nypost.com regarding The Dark is Rising.
Gina scanned in the words from the Amelia interview in V Magazine.
Lettie stayed up last night to watch Alpha Male on BBC2 and send in her thoughts...
I watched Alpha Male last night (which was scheduled at the anti-social time of after midnight on BBC2 which is awful for people who have to go to work on Monday morning... It should have been scheduled for about 9pm. Still it was a most enjoyable and intellgent film) and I was quite surprised by the subject matter. The title of the film 'Alpha Male' made it sound, at least to me, like some kind of Sci FI Movie but it was, in fact, a very human story about the loss of a loved one and then coping with life afterwards. I felt that it dealt with the sensitive issues of death, bereavement, loneliness, family dynamics and the need for companionship very well. My one criticism (apart from its scheduled time) was that there was not enough of Amelia Warner in the film. Warner reminds me of the young Julia Ormond. Like Ormond she gives all her characters depth and intelligence.'
Gina let me know that she found some of the new mags. Anthem was in the music section. There were only the photos we have seen. No interview. She also got V magazine. Brad Pitt is on the cover. It has the photo we have seen and a short interview.
If you find Amelia in anything else please drop me a line!
According to my TV listings Alpha Male is on BBC2 at 12:05 on Sunday night. (Actually Monday morning if you're setting your video.)
Steph found an exerpt of the latest Amelia article over on www.vmagazine.com. I have 'borrowed' the photo...
The Dark is Rising opens in the US this weekend. There will be lots of reviews in the online press, too many to include here. Do a google news search and you'll find them. If there are any in particular that you think should be included on the page drop me a line.
And why not add you own reviews to the message board?
Looks like Amelia is in another magazine. There's something on ebay called V Magazine. Does anyone know anything about it?
www.iesb.net have some featurettes from The Dark is Rising.
Here's the Amelia content from Hollywood Life magazine.
And here's another mag with a nice article for you to hunt for. This one is called Anthem.
Amelia is in the September/October issue of Hollywood Life magazine. I think that's a US magazine but it may turn up in the larger newsagents outside the US.
Keep your eyes open for articles on The Dark is Rising as it opens in the US next week.
Before Amelia left Toronto where she has been shooting The Echo she met up with Gina to give the page an exclusive interview. I will take a moment to thank Annette for making it possible, Amelia for doing it and Gina for typing her wee fingers to the bone! Now, click here for the interview and find out how mice entered the conversation...
www.impawards.com have added a new poster for Los Seis Signos De La Luz. Thanks to babelfish I discovered that's Spanish for The Six Signs Of The Light. Huh, seems obvious now, but it wasn't at the time.
Amelia gets a mention in an article about The Echo at Filipino site www.inquirer.net. If you click to image 2 in the gallery you'll see Amelia as well.
Hello there everyone. No, do not adjust your set; I'm trying out a new look. Sort of a work in progress.
Production of The Echo continues. Keep checking yamlaranas.blogspot.com for regular updates.
Stoned is on British TV on Monday night: 11:05 pm on channel five.
I saw a poster for The Dark is Rising in a shopping center the other day. (I tried to take a photo with my phone which was a useless thing to do as now I have a blurred photo on my phone and you can't see it, now can you?)
The new October issue of Empire has a two-page advert for the movie on pages 2 and 3 so you can't miss it there. It's also featured in their winter preview. No sign of the prefix "The Seeker".
Right, I think that's everything. If you hate the new look let me know!
www.ohmygore.com reports that the release date for The Dark is Rising has been put back a couple of weeks to 19 October 2007.
Here's the film tie-in cover to the book:
And don't forget to keep checking yamlaranas.blogspot.com for all the latest on The Echo.
Keep your eye on yamlaranas.blogspot.com over the next few weeks as production is about to start on The Echo. Here's a quote from the current entry:
I did rehearsals this week between Jesse Bradford and Amelia Warner - and with Louise Linton and Amelia Warner. I have no idea what else I'm gonna do knowing that I am working with very good actors.
Looks like The Dark is Rising has been given a new title. I've found a couple of news stories refering to The Seeker: The Dark is Rising.
The articles refer to the marketing campaign and you can find them at uk.wireless.ign.com and www.iesb.net.
Steph found an interview with Amelia Warner talking about The Dark is Rising from Dark Horizons which seems to be a longer (it has additional questions from the interviewer) version of the interview she gave from Moviehole.net.
Three Australian reviews of Gone:
There's some stories around that Fox will not be presenting their new movies at ComicCon. This would include The Dark is Rising. Here's one story: latimesblogs.latimes.com
Steph tells me that the international trailer for The Dark is Rising is on YouTube. It's slightly different but a little shorter than the original trailer.
Amelia is to star in The Echo, a remake of a Filipino thriller called Sigaw. You can found out more on the director's blog at yamlaranas.blogspot.com
Steph kindly send in another Australian review of Gone. You can read it at www.abc.net.au. Thanks Steph!
There's an Australian article about Gone at www.theaustralian.news.com.au. I had assumed it would have been released in Australia ages ago but it seems it will get its release on 19 July.

There's another online interview with Amelia and her part in The Dark is Rising. But I'm not going to put the link on this page. There's a BIG spoiler near the start of the interview and it's something I would rather not have known. Trust me, it's a big one.
Sarika sent in a link to her Amelia fan site. Check it out at amelia.fan-sites.org.

Both www.slashfilm.com and www.canmag.com have put up what may or may not be the official The Dark is Rising movie poster. Check out the links. Is that Amelia in the bottom left?
Gina tells me that the "mystery" Amelia photos are from Interview magazine.
The new issue of Starburst magazine (#351) has a cover feature on The Dark is Rising. It mainly focuses on Christopher Eccleston, but if you look carefully inside you will find a tiny Amelia photo.

STOP PRESS!
Amelia is in today's Daily Telegraph magazine. It is only available for one day so drop what you're doing and buy it now! It's a three page article plus a pic on the contents page. There is nothing on the cover of the mag to say that Amelia is in it and the mag is sealed. But trust me, she's there. Anna Hathaway is on the cover of the magazine. Thanks to Anna for walking me up in time to post this message!
Scans to follow.
I got the new issue of Dazed and Confused (March 2007) today in WH Smiths. Amelia is on page 52. Here's the article...

This news just in! Amelia starts work on a new film next month. She's playing Maggie Barnes in The Dark is Rising which is based on a fantasy novel of the same name. Filming will take place in Romania.
According to Wikipedia: "The Dark is Rising is the name of a five-book series by Susan Cooper originally published in the 1960s and 1970s. The series is written as high fantasy, and depicts the struggle between the forces of good, called The Light, and the forces of evil, known as The Dark. The series is based on the Arthurian mythos, and is written primarily for older children and young adults."
