Special #21 Winter 1997

This was their James Bond special issue with Pierce Brosnan featured prominently on the cover. At the back there was a three page article featuring Julia and the Smilla movie.

Empire
December 1997 (no. 102)

A two page profile including a full page black & white picture. The review of Smilla's Sense of Snow was in the previous issue. The Empire people were less than impressed and gave it just two stars out of five.

This issue contained a two page article on Julia with a very nice colour picture. Fans of Julia's pores will love it. Elsewhere in this issue is a half page review of Smilla with a 7/10 rating.

Premier UK (RIP)
November 1997

A nice four page article comprising an interview with Julia and a lot of nice pictures from her various movies. There's a particularly nice full page picture of her which I hadn't seen before. The review of Smilla is fairly positive but since Premier doesn't go into ratings you'll have to read the review for yourself to find out what they thought.
