Lucy Akhurst - A Beginners Guide

This page is an attempt to gather togeather what little information I can find on British actress Lucy Akhurst. Right then...

I first saw her in a British series called Wonderful You backin in 1999. It wasn't really the sort of thing I would usually watch but she caught my eye and I ended up watching every week to see what would happen next. Then I did a search and found exactly nothing about her online.

I promptly forgot about her until I caught the end of an episode of Peak Practice which (again) is not something I watch. But I thought the blonde actress looked familiar and sure enough her name was on the end credits. Another search online informed me that she was in Longitude which was to be screened in 2000. She turned up in the second part with red hair and a 1930s nurses uniform.

(And would you believe there is a page on the web with screengrabs! Here it is , if you dare.)

Next thing she turned up in was the BBC's hospital drama Holby City . Now that was something I did actually watch so I got quite a surprise to see our Lucy in it. And finally she was also in the BBC's new comedy series Beast about a fairly useless vet. Her name is in the opening credits for all the episodes but I only counted her in three of the six shows. (I only watched it for her but it was actually very funny and I liked the guy who played the vet.)

She's in The Saint for about ten seconds. She's a policewoman in a parking garage and Val Kilmer shouts out, "Watch out! They have guns!" Or something like that.
