www.itv.com has some season 2 Primeval stuff up now.

www.itv.com has some season 2 Primeval stuff up now.
I've had word thata new microsite has been launched for Primeval at primeval.itv.com/arc Material will be added as season 2 approaches.
Here's a unique photo of a beastie from an upcoming episode of Primeval, series 2.
Looks like the videos from last weekend have been taken down.
Remember that Minotaur is on ITV4 tomorrow night.
Here's a video interview with Lucy about series 2 of Primeval. In it she reveals a little about her new character, Jennifer.
Steve Savile, the author of the forthcoming Primeval novel "Shadow of the Jaguar" has kindly send in a cover image.
According to Amazon UK the Primeval Series 2 DVD has a release date of 25 Feb 2008. That seems a little early if there are seven episodes starting in February.
According to the new issue of Starburst magazine Primeval series 2 will return to our screens in February 2008. They have a few new photos, but nothing Lucy-shaped.
Lucy Brown fans in the UK can get a fix before the end of the year. I've noticed that ITV4 is showing her movie Minotaur at 10:30pm on Friday 21 December.
Keep checking Dianne's site www.douglashenshall.com. There's lots of news about season 2 and how the ARC figures into it...
Dianne over at www.douglashenshall.com has posted some news about the second series of Primeval. It appears that the Claudia Brown character will not be returning! But fear not, Lucy will be returning as a different character. Yes, time travel can get quite confusing...
Here's a photo of the new Anomaly Research Center from the new issue of SFX.
And Dianne sent in this exclusive photo of Season 2 Lucy...
I finally picked up the Primeval DVD today. It was £10 in Woolworths so I figured it was time.
Lots of Primeval books listed over on Amazon UK. They do seem to be aimed at the younger reader.
A really big thank you to Dianne of www.douglashenshall.com for getting me Lucy's autograph.
I have been reliably informed that Lucy does not have a page on myspace, therefore I am removing that link.
Season 2 will be shown in 2008.
Well, I hit the Lucy motherlode tonight! I read on a forum that there was a German Primeval site that had a lot of photos. I looked. They did.
You can check out the site yourself at www.prosieben.de/spielfilm_serie/primeval.
Here's all the Lucy stuff I could find.
The first one is a big wallpaper.
And now the rest. 21 "normal" sized photos for your viewing pleasure...
Not a bad night's work.
Oh, by the way, it seems that we can expect series 2 before the end of the year!
I found a couple of good quality Sharpe's Challenge photos on Lucy's MySpace page
so here they are. Hopefully I've not broken any copyright laws!
Just seen this on play.com and Amazon UK. Lucy's Minotaur is coming out on DVD on 3 September 2007.
No news as such. I'm just trying out a new look and logo. Like it or hate it, please let me know!
Sorry for neglecting the page, everyone. I've been spending my time working on my Felicity Jones (Cape Wrath and Northanger Abbey) page.
Just noticed these new products on amazon.co.uk...
Just imagine! Stickers of Lucy! Posters of Lucy!
Actually I bet they are all of Hannah. In her pants.
The current issue of SFX magazine has a feature on what it's readers want to see in the new series of Primeval. Someone asked to see Lucy in her pants.
Head over to www.douglashenshall.com/Primeval_News.html and scroll down to the news for 2 July. Check out the galleries and see if you can spot Lucy.
Something else I saw on www.douglashenshall.com... According to www.forbes.com there will Primeval toys in the shops in time for Christmas. They'd really better make a Claudia Brown figure...
The current issue of SFX magazine has a small article on the second series of Primeval. Obviously they're not giving too much away. However we can expect seven new episodes plus the return of Claudia Brown!
I've just noticed that Sharpe's Challenge is being repeated on ITV1 on Thursday 28 June and Friday 29 June. 9 pm to 10:30 pm on both days.
www.metro.co.uk has an article about the return of Primeval. Our Lucy will be back!
Lucy will be taking part in Wordtheatre again, this time in Los Angeles alongside James Franco. Check out their website: www.wordtheatre.com. Thanks to George for posting the news on the message board.
There's a very good (and long) review of Primeval over at www.dvdtimes.co.uk that trys to work out how the show ended up being as good as it did. Here's a quote:
"Primeval does have a nice ending, including a surprise that, for a moment, will go unnoticed and which does a fine job of setting up a second series. No, it's not perfect and there's a tendency to think that, with the presence of Henshall, it will be better than it is but it's one of the few shows in recent years that had me coming back to ITV and, were I out, insisted on taping. It might never capture the public consciousness in the way that Doctor Who did (and still does) but it does a much better job, thanks to some very nasty monsters, of forcing children to hide, if not behind the sofa then at least behind closed eyes. And that's plenty entertaining on its own."
Primeval is about to land down under. Here's an article from The West Australian called Dinosaurs and modern romance. Primeval premieres at 7.30pm on Saturday on Nine.
Make sure you check out the Message Board. There is a thread for photos of Lucy and there are some good finds there.
You know, I actually miss Primeval! I'm holding off on buying the DVD until the price drops a little bit. The same goes for the new special edition of Sharpe's Challenge. But if I need a Lucy fix that could change!
New logo by the way. Little bit more classy.
George posted a link on the Message Board that is well worth checking out:
hollywood-elsewhere.com/archives/2007/03/brown_has_it.phpThere's a review of 'Love, Race & Hate' including Lucy's contribution at books.guardian.co.uk.
Another scan of Lucy, this time from the April issue of Starburst magazine. On their news pages they report on Primeval's second series. The final episode is of course on tonight.
So, just one more episode of Primeval to go! What do you all think about the show? Post your thoughts on the message board! I've read that a second series is going to happen so that's good news.
Thanks to George for posting this on the message board:
"There was an article in the Daily Mail last week saying that Lucy will be appearing and performing with Richard Schiff (The West Wing) and Ian Hart (Harry Potter and Dirt) in London's Cafe De Paris in Wordtheatre's 'Love, Race & Hate' , Monday 12th March. The event will benefit 'Parkinsons Appeal'. Tickets and info at www.wordtheatre.com."
Hopefully it will be in time for London-based people to take advantage of.
And thanks also to Luke for pointing out that Lucy's interview on GMTV can be found on youtube. If you do a search you can also find some Sharpe's Challenge material and a LUX ad!
I've just discovered a two page article about Lucy in the March issue of Ultimate DVD magazine. I've scanned the full-page photo and here it is:
They also review the DVD.
So, now that we are half-way through what does everyone think of primeval? I thought the third episode was pretty decent. (And also that Lucy was looking particularly lovely!)
Dianne from the Douglas Henshall page found another interview with Lucy on www.metro.co.uk.
Yes, the page does have a new colour scheme!
Dianne from the Douglas Henshall page sent me a link to an interview with Lucy at www.cambridge-news.co.uk.
I've just watched the BBC series North & South on DVD. Lucy is in it, but only just! Her character briefly appears in two of three scenes but I don't think she had any lines. Not a bad series though. (And I paid £6.94 for it in ASDA!)
My first thoughts on Primeval; it did exactly what it says on the tin. Quite a fast-moving little show. It will be interesting to see what happens now that the "putting everything in place" opening has been done.
The new Radio Times has a couple of pages on the creatures, but no sign of Lucy. =sigh=
I've noticed that Play.com and Amazon UK are listing a Primeval DVD for sale. Play is charging £12.99 and gives a release date of 19 March 2007. Amazon have the same price but a release date of 5 March. I expect the later date is correct as the series will still be on air in early March. It appears to include all six episodes and a "making of".
I've also produced a little link image thingie. If you provide a link it would be most welcome.
The new Starburst magazine has a large feature on Primeval. I've scanned the most useful Lucy Brown photos. Note the incorrect caption to the second picture!
There are also articles in the likes of the new Radio Times and TV Times. I've scanned a little picture from the former. It describes her character as "posh totty in killer heels from the Home Office"!
The first episode airs on ITV1 at 7:45pm on Saturday 10 February. It's repeated at 4:30pm on Sunday.
I've been looking for a webpage with some information about the actress Lucy Brown for a while. I've not found the one I've wanted to see so I've decided to start one myself. Hopefully over time I'll add more to it.
I first noticed her in Sharpe's Challenge in 2006. Shortly she will be appearing in ITV's new six-part series Primeval. Hopefully I'll find more material about her and the series in the coming weeks.
To start with here are a few scans I have done from the current issue of TV Zone magazine plus the most obvious links I could find.
