Welcome to the website of Soul Cargo Record Fairs
We organise Record & CD Fairs in a variety of town across Cheshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, North Wales and the West Midlands.
We also sell a variety of records etc on this site as can be seen by the headings to the left. Items are listed by format, artist, title and label, condition (sleeve, then vinyl) and price.
September 2008 Record Fairs
Saturday/Sunday 6th/7th: BUXTON: Grove Hotel, Grove Parade. Superb little venue right in the tourist heart of the town at the very start of the busy shopping street. Buxton gets packed during the holiday season. Currently we have space on both days. The August Fair was VERY busy, especially on the Sunday.
Sunday 21st: SHREWSBURY: Midland Red Social Club, Ditherington Road. This venue is directly behind the Arriva bus garage. Flat load, parking on site, bar etc. Very popular with local collectors, some good spenders here as well.
Sunday 28th: STOKE-ON-TRENT: Cobridge Community Centre, Bursley Road. This is a very well attended Fair with a great number of dealers. There are 3 tables left. A great friendly crowd get in here and there are a lot of vinyl junkies although CDs go just as well. DEFINITELY the best Fair in North Staffordshire.
Tuesday 30th: WREXHAM: Edward Lloyd Foyer, NEWI. Right in the heart of the University. Free entry event and open to all and sundry - not just the students.
STOP PRESS: We have booked a superb venue right in the heart of Central Birmingham on November 16th. Lots of leaflets and posters being distributed for this Fair. More details on www.soulcargo.co.uk Bookings have been fast on this and there are only 4 tables left!!
Thursdays: Newcastle-u-Lyme High Street Market. Up to 6/7 record stalls - most centred around the Nat West Bank/Woolworth area. Open 8am-3pm. Albums from as low as 20p and singles from 50p ++++ a wide range of CD's.
