Sometime in the past few days my site got its 1000th visitor! If you have Windows 98, Internet Explorer 5.x, a 16-bit colour desktop at 800x600 resolution and the ISP fuse.net, it was you! Thanks to everyone who's visited since I opened the site just less than a year ago. I should have some new TNE3 shots for you to look at soon, so keep checking for updates.
Finally! Controllable Vehicles in MotS!

Over the past few days I've made a new feature for TNE3- fully driveable vehicles with 4 speeds, turning, forwards/backwards, horn, weapons, accumulating damage with smoke and engine failures (and total explosion if it gets too damaged). Check the TNE3 page for more details.

Voice Actors Needed

The New Empire Part 2 is now almost complete, but I need several voice actors to record certain lines for use in the level. You can do as many of the lines below as you want. Send voices (preferably zipped) to chrisswan@theswanfamily.freeserve.co.uk.
Kyle:
(ordinary Kyle voice)
"This lift must go straight up to the bridge."
"If I shut down the power it should unlock the door to the room where the datacube is."
Announcer:
(female voice or echoing/ computerised male voice)
"Prisoner escape on level 11!"
"Escaped prisoner detected! Denying access to levels 8 and 14."
"Access denied!"
Prison Officer:
(normal Imperial officer voice)
"Yes sir. Most are scheduled for termination."
"The gran prisoners in this area are all being sent to the Spice Mines of Kessel after we reach Gorberra."
"Moff Dargon has something special planned for him when we arrive."
"I have received word he will be making a visit personally within three days."
Prison Commando:
(normal Imperial commando voice)
"Are the prisoners numbered and detained yet?"
"And what of the Jedi?"
Chief Technician Por'tts:

"Technician Vorrn! Give me a progress update on the research work."
"Excellent! Dispose of this garbage and send them to our base immediately."
Technician Vorrn:

"As you wish, Chief Technician Por'tts. The research has gone extremely well."
"These animals from Maroona are perfectly normal and may be used to test our ageing cylinders."
"Yes Sir!"
You will of couse get full credit for these voices in the credits for my level.

Work Update

The New Empire Part 2 is nearing completion. Expect some more shots in the next two days. I've made lots of progress and it'll be ready for beta testing in a month. I've also just changed a couple of links on the site.

It's been a while since I've updated here. I've been really busy with my contest level, but it's finished now. Make sure you download it on my contest level page. Expect some screenshots of The New Empire Part 2 in the next few days too, because I've started work on that again.

Site Launched

The New Empire Site is now up and running. Use the links in the side frame to access my pages. Part 1 of The New Empire is now complete and can be downloaded from here, The Admiral's Command Chamber or Massassi Temple. There is also info on it and screenshots here.
Part 2 is still under construction . Check the Part 2 page for updates, but the project is on hold for a month and a half, because of my entry for The Admiral's Command Chamber level contest. At the moment, there are screenshots and info on it More to come as I progress.
The page for my contest level also has info and screenshots. For more info on the competition, go to The Admiral's Command Chamber. Also remember to look at my funny screenshots and the links page. There aren't many yet, because I wanted to get this site up quickly so I can post screenshots on forums. Look out for more in the future.
