Steam- Ale Rail Sim . One of our visitors is bemused by being a train driver. The computer simulator drew a lot of interest to visitors. They were given a demo disc to try out on their own computer.
INVER-AVON RIVERSIDE Jct 0 gauge. Pentland Model Railway Group# Modern image with class 47s in B.R blue with large logo. The one in the background is a darker blue.
BASSENDALE Gauge 009. Built to serve a sawmill in Lakeland. The railway now operates as a tourist attraction, but also provides a freight service.
ABERTAY Fine scale 00 Gauge. This layout has been around for sometime. Modelled between 1900 & 1918 based on the Caledonian practice, the foreground as an interesting fishing boat in the harbor.
AUTON YARD 00 Gauge American. East Coast Study Group. Based on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad in the 1960s. Mostly freight trains are run with some passenger services passing through.
MORWENSTOW RIVERSIDE 00 Gauge Redruth Model Club Cornwall. The layout is 52 feet long and is based in Cornwall, although now modern image locos control the line.
Live steam in 0 gauge rattle around at high speed, the track is crude compared to todays standards.
