Special September Course 2005

On 16th - 18th September 2005, a special training course was held at Kincorth Academy in Aberdeen. The course was taken by Ken Wittstock, 7th Dan, from South Africa, Dr Fritz Wendland, founding president of the WKC, and Ronnie Watt, 8th Dan WKC. Alf Ronnie Fagerland, the President of NKF Norway, was a special guest, and brought several of his students over with him.

As can be seen, there was a terrific turnout, and the course was a great success, both with the students and the visiting masters, who complimented the club on the students' enthusiasm.

The senseis moved between smaller classes of different grades, and everyone got basics, kata and kumite with the different instructors, as well as techniques for defence against knife attacks.

It must have been a huge effort to organise, and many thanks from everyone go to Gail and Ronnie for doing so. We all look forward to further exciting international events in the near future
