The Special Summer World Masters Course held on 7th to 9th August in Aberdeen was a great success. Classes were given by Sensei Eiki Kurashita, 9th Dan Grand Master from Okinawa, WKC President Dr Fritz Wendland, Ronnie Watt 7th Dan Master, and Sensei Alf Ronnie Fagerland from Norway. It was fascinating to see and learn from the different styles represented, and the large crowd of attendees had a great time.
There was a large number of kyu and Dan gradings, for candidates from all over Scotland, as well as some of our international guests. The course ran exceptionally smoothly, and everyone's thanks goes to Gail Watt for the organisation and the others who helped it all happen. Here are some pictures from the event:
