Paddy Jamieson successfully qualified as a world class referee and Roxanne Watt & Roy Petersen also received their World Coaching diplomas.
The Championships were held over three days with over 1500 competitors.
Ronnie Watt, the NKF Chief Instructor and Director of ShotoKan Karate for the WKC, was delighted with the squads performance.
"We have been working for over 1-1/2 years with the children, some training 5 times a week with squad training every Sunday. This is a fantastic achievement for our federation and Scotland with all of our clubs and athletes being self financed. It makes all the hard work worth while, especially when competing against Countries like the USA who are funding their teams with $40000 of Sports funding"
The Squad are now preparing to attend the next WKC Children’s world championships in Novo Mesto and a Childrens World Championship in Aberdeen in the not too distant future.
