Our Aberdeen club, chief instructor Ronnie Watt, 8th Dan, has classes throughout the week, run exclusively by NVQ qualified instructors, trained to national standards. The NKI is an OCR approved centre for the delivery of Vocational Qualifications. We are a centre of excellence for Karate, and are proud to be the premier club in the North of Scotland.
We take pride in being a family organisation. The safety of the children in our care is of utmost importance to us. We strive to provide a safe environment for children and adults to practise in, and enjoy tremendous support from the many parents who come along to our dojo, often to train at the same time as their children.
Successful karate students drive themselves to train; they practise at home and strive to improve their technique. This process is important, for this type of discipline and dedication lie at the heart of individual success in all walks of life. The qualities that we help our students identify and develop are those that have been the backbone of Scottish achievement through the ages. We have embraced an Asian martial art, and have used it to uncover and develop the qualities that we need as an ambitious 21st century country.
Learn karate properly, at one of the top karate schools in Europe.
Ronnie Watt's story is told in a new book by Clive Layton, Ronnie Watt, 8th Dan
