On this page you will find a large number of thumbnail images showing various aikido practicioners demonstrating various moves. Many of the shots were taken at the Kolesnikov School of Aikido, and show that you don't have to be large and macho to participate. All of these pictures were taken by John Breuer and are reproduced here with his kind permission. Anyone wishing to use any of these shots should contact John via me for further details first.

    The pictures above show an aikido training course in Birmingham, and a number of training sessions at the Kolesnikov School of Aikido in Oldham, Lancashire. As you can see from some of the shots many of the ladies taking part enjoy their aikido practice just as much as the men, and people of all ages can also benefit from taking part in the art of aikido with mind and body coordinated.
