The Lob Mill Walk, Todmorden!

This was one of the harder walks that we've undertaken in recent times, everyone felt the strain of traipsing up those big hills, but as you can see from the following pictures the effort was worth it for the view.

  • Click on any of the thumbnail images below for the full sized picture:
  • viaduct A spectacular view from the top of the hill looking down on the old Trans Pennine railway viaduct: (32kb)
Old Mill There's the old mill, and there's the stream, can't see any sign of Nellie Dean though! This ruin should make a wonderful model for any budding artists to study! :-) (65kb)
Sheep with Raincoats "Baa Baa Black Sheep have You Any Wool?" - "Well no actually, but we do have these rather fetching plastic anoraks to keep out the driving rain!" (45kb)
Brook This brook may not be babbling, but it's certainly an attractive sight to the passing walker: (53kb)
