The Marsden Walk!

These are archive photos of a walk around Marsden in West Yorkshire. These show some shots of the group taking a breather at Standedge, and my favourite piece of horseflesh!

  • Marsden1 1). Starting out. The group take a breather at Standedge by the canal, this was the starting point for our trip. (122kb)
Marsden2 2). Still resting, well it was a tiring walk, and we needed to get a few butties down us so we were well fettled. (125kb)
Marsden3 3). This is a lovely shot of a typical northern 'babbling brook. (128kb)
Marsden4 4). A couple of the members in the group thought it might be a nice idea to bribe this horse with a few mints just so it would attack me when I walked past it!:-) (125kb)
Marsden5 5). Another shot showing the hills and the electric fence used to keep the horses in. (89kb)
