This walk took place in November 2003, and when you consider just how wet it usually is around here at this time of year, shows the Watergrove Reservoir at its lowest level for some time due to the lack of rainfall. These photographs below give you an insight into just how low the water is, and show you some remnants of the old village which stood here before the valley was flooded, back in the 1930s.
