This walk in June 2002 was one of our better days weatherwise, and we got to see some nice, and even unusual sights. There are a lot of strange things in Yorkshire (especially the people!;-) ), but I never expected to see a Bison or a Spanish Bull. We were even fortunate enough to see a Heron poking its head above the reeds as well.

	1). It was unusual to see a Bison in northern England, but it was very nice to see all the cattle back in the fields again this year. (92kb)
	2). This Heron kindly poked its head up above the reeds at the side of the canal just long enough for me to take its picture. (95kb)
	3). Same Heron, I took this one because I thought the reflections in the water looked nice - awh!:-) (72kb)
	4). This Spanish bull was a long way home, and not a Matador in sight. All the same, I'll bet he would still have liked to throw me over the nearest wall. Mind you, I think there are a few ladies in the walking group who would like to do the same given half a chance!:-) (73kb)
	5). I just can't resist taking photographs of these lovely reflection, some of these scenes would make very nice paintings I reckon! (74kb)
