Below are some more pictures taken on our recent 'Wednesday walks', and also some very nice shots supplied by my fellow walkers Doreen and Betty:

A lovely view of a double rainbow over Hollingworth Lake. This shot was taken by Doreen from her garden.
Here's one from the archives - our beloved leader Betty's 70th 'Birthday Bash', taken at the car park at Piethorn. This was taken in Nineteen Hundred and ..."ooh me leg!.....
This shot is from Betty's archives, it's a shot of John, Cath and Ted up on a hilltop in the back of beyond.
A look over Littleborough from Betty's House.
A shot of the canal at Diggle.
The latest batch of reprobates in our walking group having a relaxing break (getting tanked up on Dave's toxic mints) near the canal.
Dave can be seen in the centre of this shot walking around to make sure that no one could spit his toxic mints into the canal.
You never know what little treasures you'll find lurking in the undergrowth!.
Some of the 'girls' (Golden Girls?) trying to hide from me under the canal bridge at Slattocks.
You can see the dredger here in the newly re-opened canal.
A nice shot of the Guinea Fowl walking group out taking their Wednesday walk around Slattocks as well.
